Common questions.
Why no firm prices?
Because honest mechanics don't promise prices on bikes they haven't seen. A tune-up on a clean bike is fast; on a neglected one it's a different job. We always quote before doing work.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins for flats and quick adjustments yes, when we're not jammed. For tunes and overhauls, please book — it lets us actually do the work well.
What kinds of bikes do you work on?
All of them. Vintage Schwinn, modern carbon, kids' coaster brakes, e-bikes, recumbents — bring it. Some niche e-systems we'll refer out, but we'll tell you upfront.
Do I really get free re-tunes?
30 days for tune-ups and overhauls. Lifetime for the Lifetime Lube. We mean it; please use it. We'd rather adjust your shifters than let you ride a bike that doesn't shift.
What about parts?
If we have it, we'll quote retail. If we have to order, we'll show you the price and ETA before we hit "buy." You're welcome to bring your own parts — install fees apply.
Refunds, returns, weirdness?
Talk to Dan. We want you on a bike that works; if it doesn't, we'll fix it or refund the labor. Used bikes are sold as-described with 30-day re-tune; a real warranty on used gear isn't honest, so we won't pretend.
